Windows Registry Cleaner programs are a dime a dozen. Having used several myself I can speak with confidence that no two registry cleaners are exactly the same. I’ve been the victim of several Windows Registry errors, because of this I’ve had to really study the major registry repair services available. After trying out a bunch of them, I settled with Registry Easy, I’m glad that I did.
The Registry is a database that stores options and settings for Windows. The Registry stores important settings for the operating system as well as most of the other software you have on your PC. The Registry holds the information that the PC references throughout the its operation – From user profiles, applications, document types, hardware systems, and so forth. A Windows Registry cleaner is useful because it gets rid of all the unused files, such as leftover files of uninstalled software, as well as repair any broken Registry entries. The performance of your PC increases substantially with a good Windows Registry cleaner.
Registry Easy is very simple to use Windows Registry cleaner, I was using it soon after I downloaded and installed it. It became evident that Registry Easy is designed from the ground up to be easy and intuitive. No complicated function screens that confuse more than help, Registry Easy has an interface that was easy enough to have me running a complete registry scan within seconds. Sometimes software that performs complicated functions like registry repair is a chore to use, I’m happy to say that Registry Easy keeps it simple but powerful.
So what did it scan? Well, here’s a quick run-down of all the things that were addressed during my initial scan: Missing and invalid references in the Windows registry, ActiveX errors, ActiveX control problems, Windows Startup errors, DLL errors, Runtime errors, IExplore and System32 errors, and much more, but I think you get the picture. What was cool about this scan is that it was all integrated into a 1-click maintenance feature, but it also allows the user to create a custom scan based on the users needs.
Registry Easy is broken down into six general tools, and each tool is broken down even further for a more complete and detailed scan of the PC. The six main tool are: Scan & Clean; Optimize System; System Fix; System Tools; IE Tools; Backups. They are all very easy to use and your basically walked through the process because of the friendly interface. There was one program that I found particularly useful on my test run – File Recovery. I had accidentally deleted a necessary file and wanted to see if I could get it back. It worked like a charm. File Recovery is a great toolkit which can find out all deleted files of the prefixed types without altering them in any way so that you can always perform correct recovery.
Windows registry cleaners certainly are available all across the net, but they are of variable quality, and thankfully Registry Easy has proven itself to be the top tier of registry cleaners and system optimizers. With over 4,700,000 downloads of the software it’s easy to see that millions agree with that analysis.
