so, if I understand this right; you installed the game and origin but did not reinstall the computer?

haha ironic its nothing wrong with the game it self i just found out i need to restart the computer xDDD srry for your time.
This fix was so far know, only working for the beta. Try updating your videocard (and system) (i don’t mean upgrade but update.) Try deleting cache, tmp folder etc. etc. Close the annoying origin and open it again then start BF3 again and try again. Otherwise re-install origin and BF3. Nothing works? Contact EA support, I don’t know what else can be the problem

open task manager, go to processes and end anything that has bf3 in it.
when i go to regedit i cant even find any folder with battlefield 3 in it. is that the problem? if so is there a fix?

agree with mickeh, What is going on here? Cant play the game without having to change their programming? I loved battlefield in the days, but they cant seem to work out their/servers and connection in the last few releases! I want my money back!!
It all depends on what you feel comfortable with
I used to get a Direct X error when I played the campaign all I need to do was turn on my *Paging file* and it all worked fine.. Plus I updated my Punk Buster

SP works fine, but when I try to join a server, it only keeps saying “joining server” and then it disappears and nothing happens.
EA really screwed it up BIG time with this game and the Origin client….
My game wont even start up. All I get from the Battlelog in my web browser is “Joining Server” and the nothing happens….

PC has much better graphics, and i prefer aiming with a mouse and keyboard. EA just messed up with this move.
