CCleaner Vs Glary Utilities vs Toniart EasyCleaner vs (Reg edit) Windows registry editor

See my quick comparison of popular registry cleaners for optimizing your windows registry and pc performance! CCleaner found 9 invalid registry keys, and undoing backups does not have a wizard. Glary Utilies found 81 registry keys, and have a simple undo wizard. EasyCleaner by ToniArt is in 2nd place for finding 46 registry keys which are invalid. It is also very easy to undo changes with the Easy Cleaner. Windows Regedit is a good tool to use when all the registry cleaners listed above can’t clean an invalid key because it is locked or could not find it. But, using Regedit is very dangerous to use, and if you do not know what you are doing it can “BREAK WINDOWS”. Regedit is also good mor making registry tweaks for Windows like to “hide the shortcut arrow”. @GreedyLlama Thanks for checking out my website. I plan on making video tutorials on some of my more useful text based tutorials on my site like computer maintenance software. CCleaner seems to be the best registry cleaner since it does not make too many changes. It is best to backup your registry changes and make a system restore point before cleaning your registry . To be very safe, make a Image of your system drive with imaging software like Norton Ghost.

Thi is what I have currently on my own pc.
Registry Cleaner-CCleaner
Defragger-Auslogic Disk Defrag
Anti Virus-Bitdefender Total Security (Not the very best, I would rank Kaspersky as my personal favorite, but Its expensive.)
Anti Malware etc-Malwarebytes.
I actually did a comparison scan just the other day with a few malware programs on my own pc….Malwarebytes found more and didnt cause any problems with my machine. Just wish I had recorded it…lol

I note what you say about the deep clean with Auslogics Registry Cleaner and will take that advice. Seen your website and am amazed at the number of programs that you have had experience with. I hope that you will be making videos about many of these and include your bad experiences where appropriate because knowing what to avoid is valuable information. If you have come across a good registry cleaner, do let us know. Big thanks for the videos.

@Shadownian
Oh! That is not good news, but bad news should be shared. You have made me think. The decide ‘what to do’ is the problem because know that I need some sort of registry cleaner. Without one, the PC slowly fails.

@Shadownian I also tried Auslogic Registry Cleaner deep scan. It removes some keys & Caused my PC to not allow me to run some programs, or uninstall programs. Luckily, I made a registry back up in Auslogics and everything was back to normal. The regular scan is ok, but the deep scan removes too many keys and make unexpected changes.

@GreedyLlama
Ya i would get away from auslogic registry cleaner….ya it finds alot…but thats cause it changes things it shouldnt. I love their defragger though…great little program to have if you want to look that up. But Ive had cc forever and I tried the auslogic cause I liked the defragger…ran it…and it crashed my system almost to the point where I couldnt get it back…tried others too…always with problems..Ccleaner never gave me any issues.

Thank you for making this video, I had not seen Toniart before. I have been using Auslogics registry cleaner because the first time that I used it, it found 1400 errors and that took my breath away. It took me a week to gain enough courage to click fix but I keep using Auslogics because I am so pleased that it fixed things and did no damage. I agree with you that CCleaner is very mild but being mild means that there is no risk. Look forward to your next video.
